R\u00fcyalar i\u00e7in bilimsel olarak getirilmi\u015f bu tan\u0131m onlar\u0131n karma\u015f\u0131kl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve ak\u0131l almazl\u0131\u011f\u0131 sonucu ilk insandan g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze yap\u0131lan ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar sonucu var\u0131lm\u0131\u015f bir yarg\u0131 diyebiliriz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bir tak\u0131m ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lara g\u00f6re r\u00fcyalar anlams\u0131z, ba\u011flant\u0131s\u0131z ve rasgele olu\u015fan d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce ve imaj ak\u0131mlar\u0131d\u0131r; hi\u00e7bir anlam\u0131 ve \u00f6zelli\u011fi yoktur. Psikolojik yakla\u015f\u0131mlarda ise r\u00fcyalar farkl\u0131 farkl\u0131 de\u011ferlendirilebilmektedir. Davran\u0131\u015f\u00e7\u0131 yakla\u015f\u0131m tarz\u0131na g\u00f6re r\u00fcyalar, g\u00fcn boyunca devam eden refleks kal\u0131plar\u0131n\u0131n izd\u00fc\u015f\u00fcmlerinin olu\u015fturulmas\u0131, netle\u015ftirilmesi ve haf\u0131za kay\u0131tlar\u0131n\u0131n al\u0131nmas\u0131 ile ilgiliyken; bili\u015fsel yap\u0131da r\u00fcyalar bireyin kognisyonlar\u0131n\u0131n (bili\u015fsellik)aktif olarak \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve sistemin yerle\u015ftirildi\u011fi bir s\u00fcreci ifade etmektedir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>R\u00fcya konusunda en \u00e7ok bilinen ve tart\u0131\u015f\u0131lan g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015f Sigmund Freud\u2019un psikanalizci r\u00fcya kuram\u0131d\u0131r. Zihnimizdeki d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceler u\u00e7suz bucaks\u0131z bir \u00e7\u00f6ldeki kum taneleri gibidir. Bu kum tanelerinin bir k\u0131sm\u0131 y\u00fczeyde iken bir k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131n g\u00f6r\u00fcnmemesi ve \u00f6rt\u00fclmesi gerekmektedir. Ve bunlar id ve s\u00fcperego taraf\u0131ndan g\u00fcnl\u00fck hayatta de\u015farj olmas\u0131na izin verilmeyen d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncelerdir. (Burada id ve s\u00fcperego kavramlar\u0131na a\u00e7\u0131kl\u0131k getirmemiz gerekir. \u0130d k\u0131saca egoya bask\u0131 yapan en ilkel biziz, s\u00fcperego i\u00e7inse egonun toplumsalla\u015fma ve de\u011ferler i\u00e7inde evrilmesi sonucu olu\u015fan \u00fcst benli\u011fimiz oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yleyebiliriz.) Freud psikanalizci r\u00fcya kuram\u0131nda bundan \u015fu \u015fekilde bahsetmektedir:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRuhsal olaylar\u0131n s\u0131k\u0131 bir gerekircilik (determinizm) ili\u015fkisi i\u00e7inde ak\u0131p gitti\u011fini d\u00fcped\u00fcz benimsemekteydim; dolay\u0131s\u0131yla, yo\u011fun bir dikkat sonucu hastan\u0131n an\u0131msayaca\u011f\u0131 \u015feyin arad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z \u015feyle ilgisiz tamamen geli\u015fig\u00fczel \u015feyler oldu\u011funa inanamazd\u0131m. Ancak, hastan\u0131n akl\u0131na gelen \u015feyin aran\u0131lan \u015feyle \u00f6zde\u015f olamayaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131, ortadaki psikolojik durum, yeterince a\u00e7\u0131klamaktayd\u0131.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yaz\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n devam\u0131nda Freud\u2019un bu konuyu nas\u0131l ele ald\u0131\u011f\u0131na biraz bakal\u0131m. Bunlar: d\u0131\u015f uyaranlar, i\u00e7 duyusal uyaranlar, i\u00e7 bedensel uyaranlar ve salt ruhsal uyaranlard\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u0131\u015f uyaranlar uyurken r\u00fcyalar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n d\u0131\u015f \u00e7evredeki uyaranlara g\u00f6re \u015fekillenmesine neden olur. \u00d6rne\u011fin bir r\u00fcya an\u0131nda banyodan gelen s\u00fcrekli su sesini r\u00fcyada bir m\u00fczik \u015f\u00f6lenine \u00e7evirebiliriz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0130\u00e7 duyusal uyaranlar uykuya dalmadan \u00f6nceki hayali g\u00f6rsel uyaranlard\u0131r. Burada r\u00fcyalarda g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fclerin s\u00fcreklili\u011fini sa\u011flayan bir \u0131\u015f\u0131k yap\u0131s\u0131 etkindir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0130\u00e7 bedensel uyaranlar uykuda iken ula\u015f\u0131lan derin bilin\u00e7 halinde ula\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z bilincimizin yol g\u00f6stermesi ile r\u00fcyalar\u0131m\u0131za imgeler koymam\u0131z\u0131 sa\u011flar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu uyaranlar r\u00fcyan\u0131n \u015fekillenmesi ve anlamland\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131nda \u00f6nemli yerlere sahiptir. Ve bunlar dikkate al\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131nda \u015fu \u015fekilde sonu\u00e7larla kar\u015f\u0131la\u015fabiliriz:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kalp rahats\u0131zl\u0131\u011f\u0131 olan ki\u015filerin r\u00fcyalar\u0131 k\u0131sad\u0131r ve genelde korkun\u00e7 sonlan\u0131p i\u00e7eri\u011finde \u00f6l\u00fcm vard\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Akci\u011fer rahats\u0131zl\u0131\u011f\u0131 olan ki\u015filerin r\u00fcyalar\u0131 ise genelde bo\u011fulma s\u0131k\u0131lma ka\u00e7ma atmosferi i\u00e7erisindedir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>R\u00fcyalar\u0131n fiziksel uyaranlar\u0131na bakt\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131zda ise iki kaynak g\u00f6r\u00fcr\u00fcz. Bunlardan ilki beynimizde yer alan n\u00f6ron ve etkile\u015fimleri sonucu ortaya \u00e7\u0131kan sinirsel uyaranlard\u0131r. \u0130kincisi ise \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131\u015f\u0131mdan kaynakl\u0131d\u0131r ki bu kayna\u011f\u0131n tek geli\u015f yolu ya\u015fanm\u0131\u015f verilerin yeniden \u00fcretimidir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yaz\u0131m\u0131z\u0131n son k\u0131sm\u0131nda biraz r\u00fcyalar\u0131 neden unuttu\u011fumuza yer vermek istiyorum. Freud bununla ilgili de fikir \u00fcretmi\u015ftir. Bu fikirlerden ilki r\u00fcyalar\u0131n zay\u0131f alg\u0131 ve duyumlar ile olu\u015fmas\u0131d\u0131r. Yani g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz ya da g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz\u00fc d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz \u015feyleri tam olarak anlamland\u0131ramad\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z i\u00e7in r\u00fcyalar\u0131 unutma e\u011filimindeyiz. Bununla beraber her r\u00fcya e\u015fsizdir. Bu \u00f6zg\u00fcnl\u00fck elbette ki hat\u0131rlamam\u0131z\u0131 zorla\u015ft\u0131ran bir etkendir.
