Ayr\u0131ca \u00e7o\u011fu t\u0131bbi hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n geli\u015fim riski ile ili\u015fkilidir. Depresif ruh hali, ilgi kayb\u0131, enerji ve haz kayb\u0131, su\u00e7lu hissetme, zay\u0131f konsantrasyon, d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck \u00f6zg\u00fcven, uyku bozuklu\u011fu ve i\u015ftah art\u0131\u015f\u0131 ya da azal\u0131\u015f\u0131 ile karakterize olan bu rahats\u0131zl\u0131k D\u00fcnyada y\u0131l i\u00e7erisinde 850.000 intihar vakas\u0131na yol a\u00e7maktad\u0131r. Ancak bu hormonlar bundan daha fazlas\u0131n\u0131 yaparak bizim ruh halimizi belirleyebiliyor. \u00d6rne\u011fin leptin, hipokampal plastisite ile yak\u0131ndan ili\u015fkilidir. Ayr\u0131ca leptinin s\u0131\u00e7anlar\u0131n ventral striatumlar\u0131nda dopamin sal\u0131n\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 azaltt\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6zlenmi\u015ftir. Yine leptin resept\u00f6rlerinin aktivasyonu, ventral tegmental alanda buradaki dopamin n\u00f6ronlar\u0131n\u0131n ate\u015flenmesini \u00f6nleyerek dopamin sal\u0131n\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 inhibe eder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yak\u0131n zamanda koyulan diyabet tan\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n yan\u0131nda depresif davran\u0131\u015flar\u0131n g\u00f6r\u00fclme olas\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 erkeklerde %12,8 ile %29 aras\u0131nda iken kad\u0131nlarda %23,8 ile %30,5 aras\u0131ndad\u0131r. Bu oranlar diyabet ile depresyon aras\u0131nda s\u0131k\u0131 bir ili\u015fki oldu\u011funun kan\u0131t\u0131 niteli\u011findedir. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depresyonun, beynin ruh halini d\u00fczenleyen b\u00f6lgelerinde ghrelin geri beslemesinin d\u00fczensizli\u011finden de kaynaklanabilece\u011fi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclmektedir. Ghrelin fare ve insanlarda antidepresan etki g\u00f6sterir. Dopaminerjik gibi davran\u0131r ve \u00f6d\u00fcl sistemini d\u00fczenler. Karbonhidratlar ise ghrelin sal\u0131n\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 bask\u0131layan en etkili besindir. \u0130lgin\u00e7 olan \u015fey Ghrelinin kronik stres ve tekrarlayan sosyal yenilgi gibi durumlarda v\u00fccuttaki miktar\u0131n\u0131n artmas\u0131 ve bunu takiben v\u00fccutta antidepresan etki yaratarak stresle ba\u015fa \u00e7\u0131kmaya yard\u0131mc\u0131 olmas\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depresyonla ilgisi oldu\u011funu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz bir di\u011fer molek\u00fcl \u0130ns\u00fclin Benzeri B\u00fcy\u00fcme Fakt\u00f6r\u00fc (IGF) d\u00fcr. IGF, hipokampal n\u00f6rogenezi art\u0131r\u0131r ve ins\u00fclin sinyalinin bu yolla merkezi olarak hassasla\u015fmas\u0131 depresif belirtileri azalt\u0131r. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Farelerde kolesistokinin resept\u00f6rlerinin blokaj\u0131 depresif davran\u0131\u015flar\u0131 tersine \u00e7evirmi\u015ftir. G\u0131da al\u0131m\u0131, sosyal davran\u0131\u015flar, \u00f6\u011frenme, haf\u0131za ve duygu durumu &nbsp;da dahil olmak \u00fczere davran\u0131\u015flar kemirgenlerde GRP taraf\u0131ndan mod\u00fcle edilir. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diyetle ald\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z folat \u00fcr\u00fcnleri, omega 3 ya\u011f asitleri, tekli doymam\u0131\u015f ya\u011f asitleri, zeytin ya\u011f\u0131, meyve ve sebzeler de ruh hali i\u00e7in olduk\u00e7a \u00f6nemlidir. Belli nedenlerle bu besinlerin yetersiz al\u0131m\u0131 depresyon riskini tetikleyebilir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4> Depresyonun endokrin mekanizmas\u0131<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>CRH, vazopressin ve arjinin v\u00fccuttaki stres mekanizmas\u0131n\u0131n temel d\u00fczenleyicileridir. Bu hormonlar\u0131n kal\u0131c\u0131 hipersekresyonu strese kar\u015f\u0131 gerekli olan adaptasyonu engelleyebilir. Bu hormonlar ayr\u0131ca beyinde duygu, bilin\u00e7 ve davran\u0131\u015f da dahil olmak \u00fczere y\u00fcksek mental fonksiyonlar\u0131 etkileyen n\u00f6romod\u00fclat\u00f6rd\u00fcrler. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sterese ba\u011fl\u0131 depresyonun en \u00f6nemli nedeni kortikosteroidlerin, kortikosteroid resept\u00f6r sinyalini bozmas\u0131 olarak g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyor. Yap\u0131lan bilimsel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalarda depresif hastalara kortikosteroid sentez inhibit\u00f6rlernin verilmesinin tedavide etkili olabilece\u011fi g\u00f6sterilmi\u015ftir. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hipotiroidizme sahip hastalarda depresyon g\u00f6r\u00fclme olas\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 %50 lerde iken hipertiroidizmli hastalarda bu oran %28 lerde kalm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Yani d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck TSH seviyeleri depresyon ile daha \u00e7ok ili\u015fkilidir. Ayr\u0131ca depresif hastalarda (hastalar\u0131n en az %30 unda) &nbsp;kan ve serebrospinal s\u0131v\u0131da artm\u0131\u015f t4 seviyeleri g\u00f6zlenmi\u015ftir. Ayr\u0131ca depresif hastalarda kan koag\u00fclasyonu ve fibrinolizi, platelet aktivasyonu ve D dimerlerin de artt\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6zlenmi\u015ftir. Bu da kan\u0131n damar i\u00e7inde p\u0131ht\u0131la\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131 ve olas\u0131 bir emboli riskini art\u0131r\u0131yor. Yine depresyon ile osteoporoz ve arterial kalsifikasyon aras\u0131nda g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc ili\u015fkiler bulunmu\u015ftur. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Depresyon bir do\u011fal se\u00e7ilim olabilir mi?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Klinik depresyon; keyifsizlik, hiperaljezi, y\u00fcksek ate\u015f, sosyal etkile\u015fimlere ilgisizlik, laterji, lokomotor aktivitenin azalmas\u0131, \u00fcreme performans\u0131n\u0131n azalmas\u0131, anhedoni, uyuklama, anoreksiya veya kilo azal\u0131\u015f\u0131, konsantrasyon kayb\u0131 ve ankesiyete ile karakterizedir. Bu belirtilere ise interl\u00f6kin-1, interl\u00f6kin-6 ve TNF-alfa gibi pro-enflamatuar sitokinlerin arac\u0131l\u0131k etti\u011fi kan\u0131tlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu y\u00fczden depresif bozukluklar k\u0131smen de olsa inflamatuar de\u011fi\u015fikliklere ba\u011fl\u0131 olabilir. Son zamanlarda yap\u0131lan 136 klinik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n 24 \u00fcnde sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 kontrollerle kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131nda TNF-alfa ve IL-6 n\u0131n artt\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6zlenmi\u015ftir. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Evrimsel bir bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131na g\u00f6re, depresif ve obsesif davran\u0131\u015f, enfeksiyon ba\u011flam\u0131nda anlaml\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcnmektedir \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc sosyal geri \u00e7ekilme ve tekrarlayan y\u0131kama di\u011fer bireyleri kontaminasyondan kurtarabilir.
