Kimerizm, bir organizman\u0131n farkl\u0131 genotiplere sahip\nh\u00fccrelerden olu\u015fmas\u0131na denir. Kelimenin k\u00f6keni Yunan mitolojisindeki ba\u015f\u0131 aslan,\ng\u00f6vdesi ke\u00e7i ve kuyru\u011fu y\u0131lan olan Kimera adl\u0131 varl\u0131kt\u0131r. Kimerizmin\nmakrokimerizm (tetragametik kimerizm) ve mikrokimerizm olarak iki alt grubu\nvard\u0131r. Makrokimerizm, iki ayr\u0131 yumurtan\u0131n iki sperm taraf\u0131ndan d\u00f6llenmesinin\nard\u0131ndan blastokist veya zigot safhalar\u0131nda ikisinin birle\u015fmesine denir.\nB\u00f6ylelikle h\u00fccrelerin birbirine kar\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir organizma olu\u015fur. Bir ba\u015fka\ndeyi\u015fle, makrokimerizm, iki benzer olmayan ikizin birle\u015fmesidir. Kad\u0131n ikinci bir su\u00e7lama olarak \u201cyasal olmayan yollarla rahim\nkiralayarak gelir elde etmek\u201d su\u00e7lamas\u0131na maruz kalm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ama burada \u015funa dikkatinizi \u00e7ekmek istiyorum. Bu kad\u0131nda kan ve serviks h\u00fccreleri farkl\u0131 genotipte imi\u015f. Ya peki sa\u011f ve sol overleri farkl\u0131 olsayd\u0131? Mikrokimerizm, genetik olarak farkl\u0131\nbir organizmaya ait olan az miktardaki h\u00fccre toplulu\u011funun veya DNA\u2019n\u0131n ba\u015fka\nbir organizmada bulunmas\u0131d\u0131r. Bu durumun en yayg\u0131n sebebi gebelikte anne ile\nfet\u00fcs aras\u0131ndaki h\u00fccre transferi olmakla beraber kemik ili\u011fi transplantasyonu (K\u0130T),\nkan transf\u00fczyonu gibi olaylar da mikrokimerizmin sebepleri aras\u0131ndad\u0131r. Normalde\nbir birey, v\u00fccudundaki farkl\u0131 genotipteki h\u00fccrelere kar\u015f\u0131 imm\u00fcn yan\u0131t\ngeli\u015ftirir. Fakat gebelikte ve K\u0130T \u00f6ncesi imm\u00fcn sistemin bask\u0131lanm\u0131\u015f olmas\u0131ndan\ndolay\u0131 bu h\u00fccreler dokulara yerle\u015febiliyor.
