Farkl\u0131 kaynaklarda farkl\u0131 bilgilerin olmas\u0131\nnedeniyle de ne bilgimin olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 kadar kafamda bo\u015fluk yaratt\u0131 ne de soran\nbirine anlatabilece\u011fim kadar haf\u0131zamda kald\u0131. Ben de \u201cHadi bir kere daha!\u201d\ndeyip; ara\u015ft\u0131r\u0131p, toplad\u0131\u011f\u0131m bilgileri sizinle payla\u015fmak istedim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>T\u0131bb\u0131n\nsembol\u00fc \u015feklinde kullan\u0131lan simgelerin bir\u00e7o\u011fu birbirine benzemekle birlikte\naralar\u0131nda \u00f6zellikle dikkat \u00e7eken bir n\u00fcans\u0131n oldu\u011funu siz de\nfarketmi\u015fsinizdir. Birinde asaya dolanm\u0131\u015f tek y\u0131lan varken di\u011ferinde asaya\ndolanm\u0131\u015f iki y\u0131lan ve bir \u00e7ift de kanat vard\u0131r. Bu iki sembol\u00fcn hik\u00e2yelerinin\nbirbirinden farkl\u0131 oldu\u011fu gibi isimleri de birbirinden farkl\u0131d\u0131r. Bizim,\n\u00f6zellikle t\u0131p fak\u00fcltesi amblemlerinde de s\u0131kl\u0131kla g\u00f6rd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcm\u00fcz asaya sar\u0131lm\u0131\u015f iki\ny\u0131lan ve bir \u00e7ift kanat\u0131n oldu\u011fu, Yunan Mitolojisinde <em>Hermes\u2019e ait olan Caduseus<\/em> iken, asaya sar\u0131lm\u0131\u015f tek y\u0131lan Yunan\nMitolojisinde hekim-tanr\u0131 olarak ge\u00e7en <em>Asklepios\u2019a<\/em>\naittir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mitolojideki\nanlamlar\u0131ndan bahsetmeden \u00f6nce, bu sembollerin kendi tarihimizde ve d\u00fcnyada\nnerelerde kullan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan k\u0131saca bahsetmek istiyorum. <em>Asklepios\u2019a<\/em> ait olan tek y\u0131lanl\u0131 sembol\u00fc kendi tarihimizde 1936\u2019da\nII. Mahmut\u2019un ferman\u0131nda da g\u00f6r\u00fcyoruz. Fermanda, hekimlerin ve t\u0131p fak\u00fcltesi\n\u00f6\u011frencilerinin yakalar\u0131na y\u0131lanl\u0131 asa takmalar\u0131 emredilmektedir.&nbsp; Cumhuriyet d\u00f6neminde ise T\u00fcrk T\u0131p Tarihi\u2019nin\nkurucusu say\u0131lan Prof. Dr. S\u00fcheyl \u00dcnver, \u00c7ank\u0131r\u0131 Dar\u00fc\u015f\u015fifas\u0131nda bir ta\u015f\n\u00fczerinde bir y\u0131lan sembol\u00fc g\u00f6r\u00fcr ve bu sembol\u00fcn hekimli\u011fin sembol\u00fc olmas\u0131\n\u00f6nerisinde bulunur. Asan\u0131n, uyu\u015fmazl\u0131k i\u00e7inde olan iki\nelementi uzla\u015ft\u0131rma g\u00fcc\u00fc vard\u0131r. <em>Hermes<\/em>,\nasas\u0131n\u0131n g\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fc denemek ister ve birbirlerine t\u0131slamakta olan iki y\u0131lan\u0131n\naras\u0131na asas\u0131n\u0131 tutar. O an, y\u0131lanlar kavgalar\u0131n\u0131 unutup asan\u0131n etraf\u0131na dolan\u0131r\nve \u00f6yle kal\u0131rlar. <em>Caduseus\u2019deki<\/em>\nkanatlar da <em>Hermes\u2019in<\/em> ayaklar\u0131ndaki\nkanatlard\u0131r ve <em>Hermes\u2019in<\/em> h\u0131z\u0131n\u0131n\nbelirtisidir. <em>Caduseus\u2019yle<\/em> ilgili\nyap\u0131lan bir yorumda da asan\u0131n kanatlar\u0131 hava, asaya sar\u0131l\u0131 y\u0131lanlardan biri su,\ndi\u011feri ate\u015f; asan\u0131n kendisi ise toprak elementi ile e\u015fle\u015ftirilir. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Apollon\u2019un<\/em> o\u011flu <em>Asklepios<\/em> ise t\u0131bb\u0131n ve sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\ntanr\u0131s\u0131d\u0131r ve her zaman y\u0131lanl\u0131 asas\u0131, g\u00fcm\u00fc\u015f tas\u0131, horozu ve k\u00f6pe\u011fiyle\ndola\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131 s\u00f6ylenir. <em>Asklepios<\/em> yan\u0131nda\nher zaman asas\u0131yla yolculuk eder ve yoruldu\u011funda asadan g\u00fc\u00e7 al\u0131r. <em>Asklepios\u2019un<\/em> asas\u0131na dolanm\u0131\u015f y\u0131lan ise <em>Asklepios\u2019un<\/em> hekimlik k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcne g\u00f6re\nhekimlerin dilsiz bir y\u0131lan gibi hastalar\u0131n\u0131n s\u0131rlar\u0131n\u0131 kimseye\ns\u00f6ylemeyeceklerini simgelemektedir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0130sterseniz\nbir de her iki sembolde de ge\u00e7en simgelerin farkl\u0131 k\u00fclt\u00fcrlerde nas\u0131l\nyorumland\u0131klar\u0131na daha ayr\u0131nt\u0131l\u0131 bakal\u0131m:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asa:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asan\u0131n\nhekime e\u015flik etti\u011fi ve hekim yorgun d\u00fc\u015ft\u00fc\u011f\u00fcnde hekime destek oldu\u011fu s\u00f6ylenir.\nAyn\u0131 zamanda tababetin, hekimli\u011fin k\u0131sa s\u00fcrede \u00f6\u011frenilemeyecek kadar uzun\nolmas\u0131 nedeniyle hekimin ihtiyarlay\u0131nca da asan\u0131n hekime bir dayanak olmas\u0131,\nasas\u0131ndan da g\u00fc\u00e7 alan hekimin \u00f6\u011frenmekten de asla vazge\u00e7meyece\u011fini g\u00f6sterir. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Y\u0131lan:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Y\u0131lan\nbir\u00e7ok farkl\u0131 k\u00fclt\u00fcrde ge\u00e7en ve farkl\u0131 farkl\u0131 anlamlar verilmi\u015f bir hayvand\u0131r.\nEski T\u00fcrklerde sa\u011fl\u0131k ve mutlulu\u011fu, h\u00fcrmetk\u00e2rl\u0131\u011f\u0131, sabr\u0131 temsil eden y\u0131lan; tek\ntanr\u0131l\u0131 dinlerde insanlar\u0131 g\u00fcnaha y\u00f6nlendiren, dilinin \u00e7atall\u0131 olmas\u0131 nedeniyle\nde dedikoduyu temsil eden bir sembol olmu\u015ftur. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Y\u0131lan, <em>Asklepios\u2019a<\/em> g\u00f6re \u00f6nlem almay\u0131 ve ileri\ng\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fl\u00fcl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc temsil etmi\u015ftir. Ayn\u0131 zamanda y\u0131lan <em>Asklepios\u2019a<\/em> da sad\u0131k bir hayvand\u0131r. <em>Asklepios\u2019a<\/em> g\u00f6re hekimler y\u0131lan gibi dilsiz olmal\u0131, kimsenin\ns\u0131rr\u0131n\u0131 bir ba\u015fkas\u0131na s\u00f6ylememeli, sab\u0131r ve s\u00fck\u00fbnet i\u00e7inde \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmal\u0131d\u0131r.\nY\u0131lan\u0131n simgeledi\u011fi bu anlamlardan, hekimlerin hastan\u0131n s\u0131rlar\u0131n\u0131 saklamas\u0131\nkonusunun Hipokrat\u2019\u0131n yemininden \u00f6nce Antik Yunan\u2019da da \u00f6\u011f\u00fctlendi\u011fi\ng\u00f6r\u00fclmektedir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hastal\u0131klar\nbir\u00e7ok k\u00fclt\u00fcr ve inan\u0131\u015fta k\u00f6t\u00fcl\u00fck ve ceza olarak d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Yunan\nMitolojisinde k\u00f6t\u00fcl\u00fckler, <em>Hades\u2019in<\/em>\ny\u00f6netti\u011fi yeralt\u0131ndan gelmektedir. Y\u0131lan\u0131n yeralt\u0131nda ya\u015famas\u0131ndan dolay\u0131 y\u0131lan\nda k\u00f6t\u00fcl\u00fck ve hastal\u0131kla e\u015fle\u015ftirilmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Topra\u011f\u0131n\nalt\u0131nda ya\u015famas\u0131yla topra\u011f\u0131 da sembolize etmi\u015ftir y\u0131lan. Toprak insanlar\u0131\nbesler, iyile\u015ftirir ve bitkilerin oldu\u011fu gibi insanlar\u0131n da ya\u015famas\u0131na olanak\ntan\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>G\u0131lgam\u0131\u015f\nDestan\u0131\u2019nda G\u0131lgam\u0131\u015f\u2019\u0131n gen\u00e7li\u011fi geri getiren otu ararken bir y\u0131lan\u0131n yedi\u011fi bir\notun ard\u0131ndan derisini de\u011fi\u015ftirdi\u011fini g\u00f6rm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr.
