Duygusal zeka ya da EQ (emotional quotient) terimi ilk defa\n1964 y\u0131l\u0131nda kullan\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r fakat g\u00fcnl\u00fck hayat\u0131m\u0131zda yer al\u0131\u015f\u0131 1995 y\u0131l\u0131nda\nDaniel Goleman taraf\u0131ndan yaz\u0131lan \u2018\u2019Duygusal Zeka\u2019\u2019 kitab\u0131 ile ger\u00e7ekle\u015fmi\u015ftir.\nEQ\u2019nun yava\u015f yava\u015f anla\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131yla zekan\u0131n sadece IQ\u2019ya dayal\u0131 olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131 ortaya\n\u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. EQ anla\u015f\u0131lmadan \u00f6nce IQ ve zeka kavramlar\u0131 neredeyse birbirinin\nyerine kullan\u0131l\u0131yordu, kavramlar i\u00e7 i\u00e7e ge\u00e7mi\u015fti ama pratikte bunun tersini\nispatlayan bir\u00e7ok \u00f6rnek vard\u0131. IQ\u2019su \u00e7ok y\u00fcksek olan insanlar\u0131n \u00e7o\u011fu ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131\nolam\u0131yordu hatta IQ\u2019su kendinden d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck insanlarca y\u00f6netiliyorlard\u0131. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0 Hi\u00e7 ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 bir insana bak\u0131p normal d\u00fczeyde bir zekaya sahip oldu\u011funu fakat ba\u015fka \u00f6zellikleriyle toplumdan s\u0131yr\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fcn\u00fcz m\u00fc? G\u00fcnl\u00fck hayat\u0131m\u0131zda mutlaka b\u00f6yle \u00f6rneklerle kar\u015f\u0131la\u015fm\u0131\u015f\u0131zd\u0131r. IQ merkezi ise beyinde neo-frontal\nloptad\u0131r. Joseph Ledoux, bu iki zekan\u0131n birbiriyle ili\u015fkisini incelemek i\u00e7in\nMRI kullanarak bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya imza atm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmada beyni uyararak zeka merkezlerini\nincelemi\u015f ve buna ba\u011fl\u0131 olarak uyart\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6nce amigdalaya geldi\u011fini ve\namigdalan\u0131n neo-frontal loptan yakla\u015f\u0131k y\u00fcz kat daha h\u0131zl\u0131 yan\u0131t verdi\u011fini\na\u00e7\u0131klam\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Sonu\u00e7 olarak beynimiz d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmekten \u00f6nce hisseder. Bir olay\nkar\u015f\u0131s\u0131nda \u00f6nce duygular ortaya \u00e7\u0131kar ve e\u011fer bu duygular\u0131 kontrol edemezseniz\nonlar sizi kontrol eder. O s\u0131rada\nadrenalin hormonu etkisiyle yani amigdalan\u0131n v\u00fccudumuza yapmam\u0131z\u0131 s\u00f6yledi\u011fi\n\u015fekilde d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmeden hareket ederiz ama d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnmeyiz as\u0131l d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnme s\u00fcreci ise tart\u0131\u015fmadan\nsonra ba\u015flar. \u0130\u015fte bu y\u00fczden duygular\u0131 kontrol edebilme yetene\u011fi \u00e7ok \u00f6nemlidir.\nDuygusal zekas\u0131 y\u00fcksek insanlar duygular\u0131n\u0131 kontrol alt\u0131na almay\u0131 ve mant\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131\ndevreye sokmay\u0131 iyi becerirler.
